Hidden & Dangerous is the first installment of the series of Hidden & Dangerous tactical shooters. The game was developed by Illusion Softworks and published by Take-Two Interactive and TalonSoft for Windows and the Dreamcast, while a port was developed by Tarantula Studios for the PlayStation. The game went on to become one of the most critically acclaimed tactical shooters of it's time, and was followed by the sequel, Hidden & Dangerous 2. Hidden & Dangerous had one expansion, released in 2000, titled Hidden & Dangerous: Devil's Bridge, which added new missions, soldiers and equipment to the original game.
Hidden & Dangerous was later updated and released as Hidden & Dangerous Deluxe, a sequel to the release of Hidden & Dangerous 2.
