Shooting essentially rates the characters abilities when operating a weapon using a percentage. For example, a character with seventy percent shooting skill has a seventy percent chance of hitting target every time they fire their weapon. Characters with high shooting skills operate excellently when using rifles or sniper rifles over long range. Characters with 100 percent shooting skill will always hit their target.
Shooting skills can be increased during missions by a character performing the action of shooting. Operating rifles at long range will increase shooting skills greatly, while smaller weapons in close quarters combat will only increase the skill minimally.
